Peace : Love : Food
This brief video explains our Adopt-a-Neighborhood concept and why we feel it is so effective.
Our neighborhoods are organized to include specific streets within a geographic area. If you search for a street name and it isn’t found, someone else has adopted that neighborhood. You can search for a different one or select from the available neighborhoods.
Adopting a Neighborhood is an easy, yet highly valuable, way to help the Foodstock Mission. Your commitment is very limited: First, you spend a few hours distributing bags and letters to your assigned neighborhood. A week later, you drive through your neighborhood to collect the food donations and bring them to Foodstock.
Adopt-a-Neighborhood is active in late August to early October. If you missed that window, just subscribe to our mailing list and we’ll let you know when our volunteer site is open for registration.
